Jack Daniels is made using iron-free cave spring water, corn, rye and malted barley; it is distilled in copper stills before it is filtered through 10 foot stacks of sugar maple charcoal, this process is called mellowing. The extra mellowing step is also called the Lincoln County Process, removes impurities and the taste of corn and differentiates it from bourbon.
Jack Daniel’s – 70cl is distinctively smoky with a mellow flavour that makes it the ideal sipping whiskey.
